Get Started with Tuition Assistance
Coast Guard tuition assistance is processed through the USCG Institute and managed by the U.S. Naval Education and Training Professional Development and Technology Center (NETPDTC) in Pensacola, Florida. DeVry students in the U.S. Coast Guard may simply print out and complete the Coast Guard TA application request form (CG-4147). Once you have completed the application and received ESO and command approval, mail the application to U.S. Coast Guard Institute (ve), 5900 SW 64th Street, Room 235, Oklahoma City, OK 73169-6990.
If this is your first time setting up tuition assistance, or if you have relocated to a new base, you may need additional educational counseling from your education representative in person, by phone or via email. Important Tips When Applying for Tuition Assistance

You must secure a statement of fees notice from your military admissions advisor prior to submitting your TA request. The statement of fees notice outlines your start/ending dates, course cost, total credits and out of pocket expenses.

Students taking more than one course can submit one TA form if all their courses have the same start date.

Proper signatures from your Education Services Officer (ESO) and Command Representative are required, as well as your own signature.

How to Deliver a Completed Tuition Assistance Voucher

DeVry Online Students: Email your completed TA voucher (CGI-1560) to your advisor prior to your course start date or fax Military Finance at 630-572-1172 after your course has started.

DeVry Campus Students: Please contact your campus advisor for additional details on faxing your TA voucher.

How to Order Military Transcripts
If you have USCGI transcripts you’d like to apply toward your DeVry degree, you'll need to secure an official transcript. Visit the USCG website for instructions on how to do this.
