Tech Visionary and Trailblazing Innovator Edwige A. Robinson to Address Graduates at DeVry University's Commencements

DeVry University Celebrates Class of 2024

LISLE, Ill. – May 16, 2024 Edwige A. Robinson will deliver the keynote address at DeVry University and its Keller Graduate School of Management Commencement Ceremonies on Sunday, June 9. Robinson will address more than two thousand graduates and will share her journey, fueled by resilience, grit and an unwavering belief in the possible.

“We are delighted to have Edwige join us as the keynote speaker celebrating our graduating Class of 2024,” said Elise Awwad, president and CEO of DeVry University. “As a proud DeVry alumna and visionary tech leader, Edwige is well-positioned to offer wise advice to our graduates as they begin the next chapter of their lives.”

“It’s an honor to be invited back to my alma mater to address the graduating Class of 2024,” added Robinson. “When I think of my time at DeVry, I think of second chances, opportunity and support. These graduates truly embody what it means to be persistent. I only hope my story inspires them to believe in the possible as they continue to transform their lives and the world around them.”.

DeVry University’s Commencement Weekend

The commencement ceremonies are part of a two-day Commencement Weekend. On Saturday, June 8, DeVry is hosting an event where the graduating class can further prepare for what’s next after graduation with career planning sessions and an alumni networking reception.

Commencement is a celebration for all graduates, regardless of where they call home. On Sunday, graduating students from across the country, including high school students from DeVry University’s Advantage Academy in Chicago, Ill., have been invited to attend the in-person ceremony. For those unable to travel or attend in person, DeVry will also host virtual commencement ceremonies on Sunday, July 14, so they and their families can celebrate wherever they reside.
