Known for breaking down barriers and leading cultural transformation, she’s passionate about how education can drive career advancement for all learners. At DeVry, Awwad is dedicated to advancing the University’s mission, vision, and values while supporting both academic excellence and operational effectiveness.

Chief Product Officer, DeVry University

Micah Arnold serves as chief product officer at DeVry University, leading the Product Management department. With more than 2 decades of experience in higher education, including work with universities, OPMs, and ed tech companies, he helps guide DeVry’s institutional and product development, innovation efforts, and go-to-market strategy. Before joining DeVry, Arnold established the portfolio strategy discipline at the University of Phoenix.

Senior Advisor to the National Security Fellowship, Belfer Center for Science and International Affairs, Harvard Kennedy School of Government

Dana H. Born, Ph.D., serves as senior advisor to the National Security Fellowship at the Belfer Center for Science and International Affairs. She is also a retired faculty chair of the Senior Executive Fellows Program, faculty advisor to the Black Family Graduate Fellowship, and lecturer in Public Policy at the Harvard Kennedy School of Government. Previously, she served as co-director of the Center for Public Leadership and faculty advisor for the National Security Fellows program at the Harvard Kennedy School.
