DeVry University Advantage Academy - Georgia

Our Georgia Advantage Academy program offers qualifying 11^th and 12^th grade students from both the Decatur and DeKalb school districts the opportunity to earn an Undergraduate Certificate in Programming Essentials while completing their high school diploma. This two-year undergraduate certificate program is completed virtually, with 100% of their courses taken online. To ensure students have the support they need, they will have access to their high school success center to attend live lectures and complete coursework. To round out the college experience, learners in this program will be assigned a Student Support Advisor and will have access to DeVry University resources, including the e-library and 24/7 tutoring.

Take both college and high school courses throughout your junior and senior year, and you’ll earn an undergraduate certificate while in high school. 

Get a head start on your college education. In addition to your diploma, you can graduate high school with an Undergraduate Certificate in Programming Essentials.

Students will utilize the Georgia dual enrollment funding to cover the cost of tuition, books and any additional fees and should work with their high school counselor to complete the application process. This program is no cost to the student or their family.

Once you earn an undergraduate certificate through Advantage Academy, you can continue your education by applying qualifying transfer credits toward an associate or bachelor’s degree program at DeVry.¹
